Test Lead

WHAT’S THE ROLE?

We're are seeking the expertise of a test lead to work in a small, agile and cohesive team, performing manual testing duties for our multi-platform products to increase quality and performance.

As a Holocentric Test Lead, you will work closely with our Business Analysts, Development, Solutions, Support & Consulting teams to plan, prepare and execute tests for new GA product releases, patches, and customer specific solutions.

As an integral member of the project team, the role will be performed in North Sydney.

  • Creating test plans for unit, integration and user acceptance

  • Liaising with developers, business analysts, consultants and customers to resolve testing issues

  • Documenting test cases with objectives and acceptance criteria

  • Execute test cases for system and integration testing

  • Maintaining a testing knowledge base

  • Promote and establish automated test cases whenever appropriate

  • Create and manage test data

  • Reporting progress on testing aspects of projects, tracking defects, anomalies and improvement opportunities

  • Performance testing of software products

  • Contribute to product ideas and give feedback on usability and design

  • Managing resources, when required, to assist with testing

  • Developing and improving QA processes

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a software test lead

  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem solving capabilities

  • Ability to quickly learn and apply complex new technologies

  • Working knowledge of Agile and SCRUM approaches

  • Ability to use JIRA for task management

  • Can handle multiple tasks and prioritise work

  • Excellent communication skills
