We are moving towards mobile and connected workplaces with a need to cater for large sets of data, particularly in highly-regulated environments. The clear documentation of policies, processes and procedures for easy access and distribution is essential in preparing for a leadership shift due to an aging workforce and the resultant loss of critical organic knowledge required by the next generation of employees.
To help Airservices streamline their processes and align operations with strategy, Holocentric’s Business Management System (BMS) was employed to help combat issues related to efficiency, corporate governance, compliance, accountability and the aging workforce.
BT Financial Group (BTFG) is the wealth management arm of the Westpac Group. BTFG assists consumers with the creation and management of wealth, including financial planning, insurance, investments, private banking and superannuation.
Participants at our User Conferences in 2012 and 2014 were privileged to learn about BT's organisational transformation program and the lessons learned.
Department of Defence
Modelling your business unit’s processes is the fastest way to help your team ‘do business better’.
Defence’s approach to modelling is simple: use their existing documentation as inputs to develop dynamic process models that can be integrated with business services.
Business process modelling can help identify opportunities to improve services and processes by promoting standardization, compliance and reducing complexity.
As a result of constant growth and diversification of its services, Icelandair Technical Services (ITS) identified the need for a new comprehensive aircraft Maintenance Repairs & Operations (MRO) management software.
ITS selected Holocentric to help by capturing and managing all its processes, tests, training material and operating procedures to create an integrated BMS.
The BMS provides Icelandair with easy web based access and a presentation of their business. Views of the business are personalised for different employees based on their roles. The BMS also provides the collaboration tools to drive continous improvement.
Qantas Engineering’s (QE) Project Marlin implemented a new computer system and business processes to manage the end-to-end process of aircraft maintenance within Qantas.
The Holocentric BMS was chosen by Qantas because of its flexibility and dynamic nature. Holocentric enabled QE to utilise one modelling platform to map business processes, develop training material, as well as document policies, procedures and work instructions. It also assisted in streamlining and simplifying the key phases of this large-scale project (strategy mapping, program planning and implementation).
